Your sunglasses from Hyesun are made to last. Here’s how to keep them looking and fitting the way they should. They’re not just any sunglasses. They’re the pair that finally fits. While we’ve designed them to go the distance, a little care goes a long way. Below you’ll find tips for looking after your frames, plus what to expect if something ever goes wrong.

Care Guide

Clean with care
Use the microfibre cloth we’ve included to wipe away smudges and fingerprints. Skip tissues and household cleaners. If needed, use a lens cleaner made specifically for sunglasses. No sprays with mystery ingredients.

Keep them cool
Heat is the enemy. Don’t leave them in hot cars, on dashboards, or anywhere they’ll bake in the sun. Heat can warp the frame and damage the lenses.

Store and wear safely
When they’re not on your face, pop them in their case. It keeps them protected and scratch-free. And as tempting as it is, avoid wearing them on your head, it stretches the fit.

Keep them dry
They may look poolside-ready, but Hyesun sunglasses aren’t made for water. Don’t submerge them, wear them in the ocean, or clean them under the tap.

Restrictions of use
Hyesun sunglasses are designed for daily wear and UV protection, but they’re not industrial-grade. Don’t use them for staring at the sun, tanning beds, or as safety goggles.

Warranty
You’re covered for 12 months from purchase against manufacturing defects (with proof of purchase). This doesn’t include wear and tear, misuse, or accidental damage.

To make a claim, email info@hyesun.com.au with your receipt and a description of what’s gone wrong. Return shipping is at your expense. We’ll assess and either repair or replace.

Safety Standards
Your Hyesun sunglasses comply with:
- AS/NZS 1067.1:2016 (Australia & NZ)
- ISO 12312-1:2022 (EU Standard)

Additional Warranty

All Hyesun sunglasses come with a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers genuine manufacturing faults under normal use. Simple as that. If your claim is approved, we’ll repair, replace (if in stock), or offer store credit, at our discretion.

What’s Not Covered 
This warranty doesn’t cover:
– Scratches, scuffs, or general wear and tear
– Bent or broken frames from impact
– Heat damage (e.g. from leaving in a hot car)
– Improper cleaning (e.g. abrasive cloths or harsh chemicals)
– Alterations or repairs by third parties
– Loss or theft
– Loose or wobbly hinges that require tightening (a normal part of wear and maintenance)

We reserve the right to deny claims where damage appears to be due to misuse, improper storage, or wear and tear.

This warranty Is additional to your consumer rights
This warranty sits alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You’re entitled to a refund or replacement for a major fault, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

For minor faults, we’ll determine the appropriate solution, whether that’s a repair, replacement, or refund, based on what’s reasonable under the law. We don’t override your rights, this is simply our extra promise to you.

Who’s eligible
– Applies to Australian customers only
– Covers purchases made via hyesun.com.au or authorised Australian retailers
– Warranty is valid for the original purchaser only and is non-transferable
– Gift recipients are covered if they can provide proof of purchase
– We do not cover purchases from unauthorised retailers or second-hand platforms
– Warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, not first use

How to make a claim
Email info@hyesun.com.au with:

  1. – Your order number or receipt
    – Description of the fault
    – Clear photos (full frame + close-up of issue)

  2. We reserve the right to deny warranty claims where damage appears to be due to misuse, improper storage, or wear and tear. If approved, you’ll post the sunglasses back to us. Return shipping is at your expense.

  3. We’ll inspect them and:
    – Repair
    – Replace (if in stock)
    – Offer store credit
